The test and evaluation of equipment reliability play an important role in the authentication of the equipment and the use of the equipment in battle. It involves large amount of data and complicated calculation. Computer-aided reliability test and evaluation can improve the quality and efficiency. In this paper, a software system is designed and implemented, the algorithm for test and evaluation and the aggregation of expert opinions are studied. The contributions of this paper are as follows.The flow, index and methods of reliability test are analyzed, which are from national military standard and other standards. The requirement of test and evaluation of equipment reliability is analyzed. The principal function, the basic flow and the environment of the software are setted. The architecture of the software, the functional module and the design of the database are illustrated. The overall strategy for reliability evaluation is established. The algorithm for series type equipment given by national military standard is explained. Based on the L-M algorithm, an algorithm for parallel type equipment is presented, compared with the MML method, the results of the new algorithm are more precise. The data structure and procedure of the algorithm designed for the reliability evaluation are presented. The algorithm for K/N and cold standby equipment are studied by the Monte Carlo method. The algorithm for test and evaluation of binomial type unit, exponential type unit and series type equipment are implemented, the accuracy of the algorithms is validated with examples.The model and algorithm of aggregation of expert opinions are discussed, the degree of consistency between the expert opinions is defined, an algorithm of aggregation of expert opinions is presented, which has fewer limits and can be applied in test and evaluation.
