According to the analysis of correlative binary phase diagrams and the effects of elements on it, the components of Cu-base high damping alloy are optimized and the reasonable quotas of elements of Al, Ni, Mn are gained.Three kind of alloys Cu-A114-Ni4, Cu-All 1-Mn6, Cu-A113-Mn6-Ni4 are screened out after elementary test of the properties . The results of the test of the temperature of martensite phase transformation, the observation of microstructure and the systemic analysis of components indicate that these three alloys all have the structural transformation character of SMA and their temperatures of the phase transformation are all above 100°C.The static and dynamic properties of the three alloys are studied emphatically in this article. The study makes it clear that the three alloys all have favorable mechanical properties and damping properties and the damping properties vary under the different temperature and the stress. At the same time ,the impacts of the elements of Al, Ni, Mn on the three alloys are obtained.By the study of a series of experimentations of the damping properties under different temperatures and stresses, the changing rules and characteristics of damping properties of the three alloys are gained. The study not only provides some kinds of alloys with good mechanical properties and high damping properties for applications in engineering field under dynamic conditions, but also offers guidances in theory for the useage of these alloys in the different running conditions and widen the research field of high damping alloys.
