| As a kind of specific geologic hazard, the granular mixtures slope is widely distributed along the Tianshan highway. The basic characteristic of the granular mixtures slope is loose structure which hardly has tiny particals and agglutinate between the particals, so it looks like loosen sand. The composition of the grain size is in the control of the rock debris grain composition in the provenance. The granular mixtures slope belongs to classic extensive space freeness dissipative dynamic system which according to the Self-organized criterion. This means that the whole system will collapse when one point of the system is disturbed, then this disturb spreads to other areas.On the base of referring to the articles about granular mixtures home & abroad and collecting the information in the job site, this paper makes systematic research on the granular mixtures slope. The main research work including follow aspects:1. This paper summarizes the distribute characteristic of the granular mixtures slope along the Tianshan highway on the base of profound analyzing physiographic condition and geologic environment.2. On the base of analyzing the moving characteristic of the granular mixtures, this paper establishes the moving mechanical module of the grain.3. By means of the dynamical characteristic physical simulation experiment on granular mixtures slope, this paper analyzes some factors affecting the system stability, including: grain psephicity, nonuniformity coefficient, fine particle layer ,kinematic velocity of the grain, the percentage of the extraordinary particle, freeze-thaw action etc. Among these factors, the fine particle layer is in control of the stability of the slope. On the ground of this phenomenon, this paper presents the three layers mechanical model which contains granular layer, fine particle layer and friction-resistance layer. At the same time, this paper applies this model to explain the large-scale collapse mechanics of the sliding-collapse collapse model.4. This paper researches the fractal characteristic of the granule for the first time during the piling course of rock debris which indicates the slope as an extensive space freeness dissipative dynamic system continuous evolves towards the brim of the chaos by means of the self-organized course self-coordinated and spontaneous.5. This paper applies fuzzy synthesis appraisal approach to the risk sectionalized assess of the granular mixtures slope along the Tianshan highway for the first time. On the base of the risk sectionalized assess, the author analyses the action mechanism of the main countermeasures.
