With the developing trend of higher speed of passenger train, the influence of strong crosswind becoming one of crucial factor of safety operating of train. For keeping balance between safety and the efficiency of passenger transport, it's necessary for us to find a point among them. So, we must ensure the safety operating of the train accord with country's criterion when the two trains cross which produced the load affecting the capability of dynamics.SongYang, graduating in the Beijing Jiao Tong University, who did a lot of work in his master's thesis, named study on the dynamic characteristics of high speed train under crosswind. However, there is no one to study the safety of high speed train under cross. So, aiming at high speed passenger train of CRH2, the dynamic characteristic of high velocity passenger train under the influence of crosswind were researched with dynamic model built threes cars which contains the head car, the trailer and the tail car by the CAE software SIMPACK in this dissertation. Basing the wind impact the dynamic performance of a operating passenger train in difference operating trains cross conditions on ground of the result of simulating computation on the Aero dynamic loads of cross affect on the train on the same operating conditions. we calculation and analysis on dynamic model and figure out the dynamic parameter and safety operating criterion including lateral force, derailment coefficient, decrease ratio and Sperling's index, thereby discuss the safety issue of train under the two trains cross, then forecast the high speed passenger train's safety operation.There are academic values in the aspect of analyzing the performance of train operating at the cross situation which influences the characteristic of the dynamics of the high speed train. The achievements of the research in the dissertation have referential significance and practical senses to promote high speed railway project on guarantee aerodynamic stability and safety of train. And it can contribute to develop of the forecast and adjust system of crosswind.
