Research On Photovoltaic Cell Character

As a clean and inexhaustible green energy, most using mode of solar energy is photovoltaic generation. Photovoltaic cell is the hard core of solar electric power generation, so the thorough research on output characteristics is of far reaching importance. Based on analyzing fundamental principle of photovoltaic generation, Photovoltaic cell characteristics are studied, such as I-V trait, illumination and temperature. Equivalent circuit is deduced, and then experiments on photovoltaic cell are relatively tested. Lastly, operating characteristics of 50WP polysilicon photovoltaic cell in the different situations are experimented. Compared photovoltaic generation efficiency in differ obliquity, load and temperature, optimal azimuth angle and tilt angle are confirmed by data. Shadow influence on photovoltaic cell is investigated, and data show that the output power drops down 1% when the area enveloped shadow excess 50%.
