Development Of Relay Protection Setting Calculation Software In Distribution Networks

Distribution Networks needs to be more reliable along with the development of national economy. Their operation must ensure the supply of electric power and reduce the influence of faults. So the relay protection in distribution networks is paid more and more attention. It can lighten the work of setting workers and improve the operating level of relay protection devices to develop a setting software for distribution networks with the technology of computer. Firstly, the entire designing idea of software is introduced in this paper, and it is divided into five modules. Secondly, graphic module, fault analysis module, protection setting module, and information management module are introduced in detail. Finally, the functions are validated by a real distribution network.
