Bridge is one of the vital parts of the traffic and transportation system. The healthy status of bridge structures is the premise of traffic and transportation system to operate normally. At present, some bridges appear aging, damage and crack for some reasons, such as design, construction, management, natural disasters and so on. If there is any serious damage in bridges, national economics, social stability, people's lives and properties will be affected. Thereby, it is of great significance in theory and practice to perform damage identification for bridge structures.In this paper, considering the present researches and existing problems of the damage detection in bridge structures, the method of the influence line of displacement is first put forward, including first and second derivative in the damage detection fields. The main works included as follows:â‘ The background and significance of the dissertation are introduced briefly. Current advance of studies at home and abroad on the damage identification of the bridge structures are generalized.â‘¡The research of this paper is based on the reinforced concrete beam bridges with wide and many uses, diseases of which are summarized in detail, so as to study the damage identification aiming at the practical disease.â‘¢The basic theories of the structural damage identification are reviewed,. The mechanical formula and the computer programs are worked out and applied in the numerical simulation of damage detection of a simply rectangular beam, It is divided into many status including single damage and multi-damages, different location and degree, studies the influence of moving speed with the concentrated force. And the laboratory model test is made to verify the theoretical calculation. The results show that the way of the damage identification based on influence line of displacement has a good recognition effect, which not only identifies the damage and the damage position comparative accurately, but also identifies the degree of the damage.
