Facing increasingly serious electromagnetism radiates, an exact, easy using measurements device is needed to be used to judge whether safety the place where you by related standards. The probe plays an important part in measuring electromagnetism radiates. The principle of the probe is stated here, the configuration and the principle are mainly introduced. The emulation and the analysis of the antenna and the transmission lines are done in this paper. The diode circuit of the E-field probe was discussed. A novel linear-nonlinear analytical approach was used here to analyze the demodulation circuit. By the particular performance of the diode, the big signal and the small signal were analyzed respectively in this paper, and got the well frequency response. This circuit was analyzed by CST and got the satisfied results. The conclusion was included: the size of the antenna affects the frequency band of the probe; the parameters of the diode affect the response flatness and the linearity of the probe. The theory of the transmission line and the micro-strip were introduced, the transmission line of the probe was discussed by the equivalent method. The important functions of the micro-strip in the E-field probe were analyzed mainly. The performance (the frequency, the three-dimensional and the linearity) of the E-field probe was analyzed. At last, the advices were given that we should notice in the E-field probe developing.
