Research On The Planning Of Urban Rapid Railway Network In Shenyang City Based On Urban Spatial Development

Rapid railway network planning of Shenyang city was studied in this paper, based on urban spacial expansion. Based on the analysis of mutual mechanism between urban spatial form and railway, development model, network structure and scale of Shenyang city rapid railway were put forward with emphases in the context of urban spatial development. And the overall performance of rapid railway network was evaluated based on comprehensive scoring method, to uphold urban spatial aggregation development and to realize urban sustainable development as well.Initially, according to the analysis of typical cities at home and abroad, corresponding development modes of railway network were put forward according to different urban spatial form structures, and the development strategies of urban spatial form and rapid railway network integration were summarized as well.In the second place, history evolvement process of Shenyang urban spatial form and road network layout was analyzed, from which the conclusion that the urban spatial development mode of Shenyang is circle sprawling was found, and the causes for this mode formation were studied. After summarizing the optimizing strategies of urban spatial structures and forms of similar cities in China and abroad, some important means to break through the stereotyped modes of urban spatial development were advanced. The strategies are as follow: extending with orientation along urban developing axes; Dividing the urban spatial Hierarchy of Shenyang from the viewpoint of regional harmonious and systematic development, and confirming Shenyang's urban spatial structure.Then, the study of rapid railway development mode and construction emphases in different regions of Shenyang city were focused on. Analysis the city axis from angles of urban function deployment and traffic flow, form and structure of rapid rail transit network were proposed. With the combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis, the reasonable development scale was given, on base of satisfying the transit demand, combined with the population and land use scale of Shenyang city in future. Based on the analysis of Shenyang urban spatial form, urban spatial structure, urban passenger transport corridor and main distribution center of passenger, the alternatives of the network were put forward.Finally, according to the actual road traffic situation in Shenyang, evaluation system of rapid railway network planning was established to evaluate the alternatives of the network. At last, the recommended network was determined.
