Propulsion shutoff is one of the key techniques in the high-speed maglev ATP system. The research of the propulsion shutoff technology abroad has been mature, while the domestic counterpart is still at the start stage. A scheme of a safety-critical propulsion shutoff system was presented with the background of German high-speed maglev system, thus the propulsion shutoff system was designed based on this scheme.Research work in this thesis is focused on the followings:Firstly, the working principle of propulsion power supply and operation control was studied, and then the function requirement and the safety requirement of propulsion shutoff system were analyzed.Secondly, according to various failure-avoidance technologies and failure- tolerance technologies, a scheme of propulsion shutoff the system with high safety and high reliability was proposed.Thirdly, the kernel unit with safe dispose was designed. A few DSP2407 chips were used to satisfy the function requirement of high safety and reliability.Fourthly, the redundant current capture module, the safety IO module and the safety communication interface among individual modules were designed.Fifthly, the software system was designed, and parts of software models were implemented.Finally, the environment simulation model of propulsion shutoff system was designed, and the simulation verified the relevant system function results.
