Geological environment has complicated relations with human project construction. Diversity engineering geological conditions will restrict urban engineering construction's development,while urban's construction and development will deteriorate the geological environment.The main mission of the urban engineering geological environment is to study the restrictive and reliant relationship between construction activities and geological environment,to investigate and evaluate the initial geological environment related with urban layout,project constructions and applications,the regionalization of land etc. It analyses the geological environment problems induced by project constructions,gives some suggestions about the land usage in order to optimize the urban constructions and avoid the blindly exploitation of urban land.The thesis discusses the importance,the current status and the way and measures of urban engineering geological evaluation,and chooses the appraisals of site feasibility to project constructional as the object of evaluation which is one of the important parts of urban engineering geological environment research. Firstly,the thesis makes full use of the basic data such as engineering geological conditions,regional geological conformation conditions and fieldwork to analyse the field project constructive conditions. Secondly, it uses the DPS software to cope with drill hole and experiment data of physics and mechanics to ensure the validity of data. It also discusses the character of the construction layers and calculates the bearing capacity. Then it developes a evaluation system of different height constructions and quantifies the evaluating indicators from the point of foundation bearing capacity and economic applicability. In the end ,it establishes a clustering analysis model,sorts the superposed result and divides subzones where the construction with certain height is most suitable.In the progress of the evaluation,it uses the GIS as platform and the evaluation indicators are grid calculated by the spatial analysis module,which can effectively solve the problems of engineering geological compiling that used to complete by instinct experience. Considering soil bearing capacity ,the cost of foundation and the land engineering capacity losses,the thesis embodies the combination of geological conditions and engineering construction.By introducing cluster analysis into the appraisals of site feasibility to project constructional, it could reduce the man-made influence and give a specific value of differences between clusters. The result of assessment turns to be much more scientific,objective and accurate. The method is worth promoting in other assessments of urban engineering geological evaluation.
