Because of the increasing energy shortage and environment pollution, the clean vehicle which almost without pollution have to be developed. Currently the Fuel Cell Vehicle is recognised as the next generation of public transportation to replace normal engine vehicle.Most famous vehicle manufactorise take the study in this field. For the development of Fuel Cell Vehicle, configuration of the powertrain system and parameter match are very important.it is the base for the vehicle to be more powerful and more economic.From the point of view of the energy transform,the powertrain system is substaintial difference between Fuel Cell Vehicle and Traditional Engine Vehicle.The traditional vehicle take ICE as the core, ICE tranfer the fuel chemic energy into mechanical one directly. According to the ICE performance, in order to achieve the vehicle runing requirement ,the output power has to transmit to the driving wheel through the cultch and complex shift outfit .However,Fuel Cell is the device to make hydric energy become electrical energy directly after electrochemical action.Like electric motor,the Fuel Cell Vehicle use the motor as the driving device,so the configuration disign and parameter match of Fuel Cell Vehicle are different with those in Engine Vehicle.This dissertation is based on the actual design process for the Fuel Cell Vehicle.The configurtation design and parameter match have been studied and clarified in detail in three steps.The first step is to design the suitable powertrain configuration ,based on the current status and technical specification of the Fuel Cell.The second step is to calrify the principle of component selection by analysing their specifacation.The third step is to take parameter match for the main component according to the design requirement. Thereby the praimary design for the Fuel Cell Vehicle has been achieved.
