Actual SCADA systems have low picking rate and they can only collect asynchronus date. Wide-Area Measurement System (WAMS), SCADA and EMS will bring a new system—(WAMS|SCADA)/EMS.After carefully analyzed the information flow with informatics and ergonomics, a new visualization method based on voltage phasor is brought forward. Recently, the focus of visualization research in power system is voltage visualization. The process of human machine information interaction of EMS is analysed with information theory. It proves power system visualization based on voltage phasor which combined with amplitude scalar and angle scalar is necessary and viable. A concrete method of voltage phasor visualization is proposed. The efficiency of power system visualization based on voltage phasor is presented and proved by the simulation of the WSCC-9 system.Summing up the searching weak-bus methods in effect, we can find the weak-bus & weak-Line of power system using the visualization figure. The searching results of the 4General-6Bus system which under several status such as : model, heavy-load, transmission line being broken, is the same as using TPIS stability factor.Dispatchers can fully understand power system voltage situation by visualization monitoring voltage. They can indeed find the weak-bus and weak-line using visualization figure if they have trained adequately.Problems relating to visualization of voltage monitoring to be further studied are summed up.
