This text introduces the basic concept of equipment maintenance and management, the progress actuality of maintaining domains. On the basis of summing up representative maintenance strategy, analyzing a failure-repair model with minimal and major maintenance, and an inspection model with minimal and major maintenance for a system with deterioration and Poisson failures, made particular research of these two model's modeling, description, algorithm and results.Through the contrast of many kinds of parameters vs models' performance index, at the maintenance system of preventing plan maintenance and malfunction renewing maintenance, power station strategy model with minimal and major maintenance can reflect the practical complexion of equipment management on a certain extent, can from the angle of minimum maintenance cost or maximum equipment availability consideration, but can't swiftly, truly implement equipment's preventing maintenance, or implement resuming repair in allusion to bursting out failure.Equipment maintenance Petri Net model, introduces corresponding decision-making mechanism for inspecting and diagnosing equipment state, also for capacity estimation, and this solves this problem pretty well. As this theory's simulation emulation software is faultiness, this article adopts Matlab for emulation calculation, thereby results in longer period.
