The reinforced concrete was made up by two kinds of materials of different nature, its performance depends on the material of the concrete and reinforcing bar directly. At non-linear stage, the non-linear performance between concrete and reinforcing bar itself and the non-linear performance of glue, will reflect in the combined material in various degree. If still calculate with the linear elastic analytical method at this moment, can't reflect the reality deformation and the strength characteristic of the structure correctly. In our country, a lot of skyscrapers of complicated size are all built on the earthquake-prone zone, while encountering strong earthquake function, the structure may be entered in the elastoplastic working state, when the structure is analysed, must consider the elastoplastic properties of the material. Study to the nonlinearity of the basic component of concrete is more at present, relatively deepen too, study to the nonlinearity of the whole structure is less, and the study on complicated structure is more rare.This subject utilizes PKPM software to carry on computational analysis for reinforced concrete high-story connected twin-tower structures on the basis of analysis of theory. At first, Using response-spectrum analysis method and elastic time-history analysis method, study dynamic response characteristic of connected structure under frequently occurred earthquake, have discussed and have compared to some main influence factors. On this basis, playing the analysis and research of elastoplastic properties to this type structure, there are the following contents:Firstly, using the EPSA static elasto-plastic analysis software (Push-over),carries on analysis checking under frequently occurred and seldomly occurred earthquake of 7, 8, 9 degree, and achieves the curve of force-deformation, and judges strength performance and ductility quality of the whole structure .Secondly, using EPDA software carries on elasto-plastic time-history analysis of structure under seldomly occurred earthquake, and carries on the rational assessment to the structure aseismatic behavior of this kind of project, finds out the weak position and the strength characteristic of connected structure through the above research work, to these weak position and the strength characteristic proposes enhancement measure in the course of aseismatic design.Thirdly, have analysed and have contrasted to the structure of different earthquake waves, different sites and different earthquake protection intensities, and to the choice of the wave, the influence of sites and earthquake protection intensities, puts forward some views, for designer's reference.By analysing the impact of P-â–³effect on this kind of height structure, and draws that the factor has a little effect on structure of this height, can ignore.This subject is valuable to the research of design and construction of similar structure.
