The mechanism and the effect factors of sulfate attack, and the research situation of the accelerate method for assessing sulfate attack are analyzed in the paper. Through many tests of sulfate attack, the change laws of main performance for ordinary concrete and concrete with water-reducing agent, fly ash, slag, silica-fume and phosphorus slag are investigated. And in this paper, a compatibility problem between the wetting-drying test and long-term immersion test is analyzed.The test result of change laws of intensity indicates that, the ratio of attenuation of the coefficient of tensile for ordinary concrete is morn than the ratio of attenuation of the coefficient of pressure. And it is inverse for concrete with water-reducing agent and mineral admixture.The test result of change laws of elastic ratio indicates that, the change of elastic ratio is slower than the change of intensity for any kinds of concrete. So it is inefficiency.The test result of change laws of weight indicates that, to the ordinary concrete under sulfate attack, the rate of change is quickly. But there is no mass loss after 6 month. To other kinds of concrete, the mass is sustain increase. So the loss of mass cannot reflect the performance of sulfate resistance.Considering together with series of performance through wetting-dry cycle and soaking test, can indicates that the procedure of ordinary concrete and concrete with mineral admixture's sulfate attack is different to long-term soaking; the procedure of concrete with water-reducing agent's sulfate attack is uniform with long-term soaking.
