Hypersonic Vehivle is the crucial development aspect in the realm of aerospace technology in the 21 st century. The hypersonic vehicle is characterized by its high speed and high ability of penetration and has become the hotspot concern of many contries. Once a breakthrough is achieved in the hypersonic vehicle technology, it will breach the whole defend system at core of strategic missiles, and will atack efficaciously on army and the base abroad, and will provide means of the sudden arriving and unrestricted come-and-go, and will promote the ability of transportation and assister in space for our country. Hence, the research on hypersonic vehicle presents significance in progress, stratagem and extensive promotion.A sticking point of developing hypersonic vehicles is designing a shape with good aerodynamic characterics. With the advantage of high L/D at hypersonic speed, waverider configuration has attracted widely attention and has become an improtant trend in designing the shapes of hypersonic vehicles.In this study a series work was carried to the optimize design of waveriders. Guided under the idea of parameter design, this paper optimized the cone and osculating cone derived waveriders, and an elemtary study of aerodynamic heat was carried. This work has done the following researches:1. Considering the nonlinear relation between control parameters and aerodynamic characteristics, inorder to improve optimize efficiency, this paper improved the NSGA-II algorithm, thus founded the basic optimize tool.2. Based on summing up the research in waverider in and out of China, this paper parameterized the design process of cone and osculating cone derived waveriders, it can generate waverider shapes from approximate solution of conical flow fields. It also summarized the engineering estimate formulas for waveriders which made perparations for optimization.3. L/D ratio, volume and volume efficiency are choosed as optimized objective functions in the multi-object optimization of the cone derived waveriders. The optimized configurations break the "L/D barrier" of traditional shapes. With the large volume efficiency it provides design reference for the new generation of re-entry glide aerocraft.4. Based on parameterized design, we use orthogonal experiment to analyze each parameter's effect on the performance of osculating cone derived waverider configuration, and carried through multi-object optimization. The optimized shapes have better aerodynamic characteristics and uniform flow at the base; as the front dody forms a pre-compression, it is an important design reference in the hypersonic vehicle front body/scramjetintegration design. 5. An elementary study of waverider aerodynamic heat was carried through. Based on simplification, the wedge, cone and plane flowfield was calculated and the surface temperature characteristic was studied, the temperature distributation was estimated.6. An optimized configuration was designed for wind tunnel experiment; the high L/D was certified.
