Along with the development of lighten tendency of automobile and requirement of collision security, the high strength sheet metal(HSSM)is more and more extensively used in the automobile manufacturing. However, because of the higher strength and toughness, its forming is relatively difficult. On one hand, the requirement of forming equipment and mold material is higher; on the other hand, the diameter precision of formed pillar is lower behaved by large springback.Focusing on stamping springback problem of HSSM, by comparison researching method with common sheet metal(CSM)and HSSM, the basic experimental research on stamping property of HSSM was implemented; and combining with typical bending experiment and numerical simulation, the relatively extensive research on the common regulation of HSSM was carried out; take center pillar as an example, the stamping springback problem had been deeper studied and gained better practice effect. The effective control measures of stamping springback of HSSM.(1)Based on reading a great deal of literatures in china and oversea, the extensive summarize focus on the research status of automobile HSSM and stamping springback of blank was put out.(2)By basic mechanical property experiment and physical simulation, the basic stamping property of HSSM and CSM was researched by contrast, and the relative parameter was obtained.(3)Combining with the numerical simulation, the typical comparing bending experiments such as V-type and U-type of HSSM and CSM were carried out. The common regulation of HSSM was gained.(4)By numerical simulation technique, take center pillar as an example,the forming process and cutting process of CSM and HSSM were simulated, the springback problem had been deeper studied and gained better practice effect.(5)The effective control measures of stamping springback of HSSM were propounded. These research results have a guidance effect to theory research on stamping forming and research on control measure of HSSM.
