| Along with the development of Chinese economy, the standard of living of citizens is increasing, people's ecological environmental awareness strengthens significantly, leisure time is on the rise also, since people's demands for culture, nature and health are durably high, from the reform and opening up to now, the annual tour at home and abroad have all clearly been on the rise. Touring parks or open space give us favorable places to understand of both natural and historical and cultural heritage of the favorable places, and give us favorable opportunity to relief as fast-paced, highly competitive in the lives of the tension and suppressed. However, there are many issues in China's current system of parks and open space in use in the process of connecting, we task now is to connect all of the scattered, independent of parks and open space to form a comprehensive and green corridors ,so they can play its due role in the leisure, environmental protection, protection of historical heritage, economic development, and aesthetic enjoyment.This paper, in reference to domestic and foreign research results and practical experience,explains the development of parkway both at home and abroad and creatively put forward the definitions of parkway in china, characteristics and the design philosophy, and discusses the relationship between the parkway and the general highway and traveling road;then the parkway are classified based on terrain in the south,there are 11 species such as the parkway between cities to scenic spots in plain area;then proposed the design concept of linear coordination,ride comfort,and cultural geographical,ecological harmony;discuss the parkway's alignment design in the South China region; study to the south area typical road sections with on-site research, proposed alignment design principles, design speed and design of vehicles, and referencing existing routes design specifications proposes the alignment design indexes of parkway, such as the straight line length, round curve radius, ultra - High value-curve length, line-of-sight requirements, the largest longitudinal slope, slope length restrictions, the roadbed width, and so on. These design concepts and design indexes flexibility were applied in tourist highway from Taohuayuan to Huayanxi in Hunan Province and the Jiangxi Province Mingyue Mountain Scenic Spot tourist highway projects and so on, the effect is very good, and have the promotion of greater value and practical significance. |
