Because of the universal heavy vehicles, the damage of the road especially that cross through the soft foundation or the underground river region is growing increasingly; the pavement appears prematurely rut, pavement uplift, pits, frothing and fissures, etc. If the damage can't receive the maintenance timely, it leads to the collapse or bumpy with the function of water, seriously effecting the stability of subgrade, at the same time, with the function of heavy vehicles, the stress distributing of the subgrade and pavement is more irregularity and the phenomenon of stress concentration is more serious, the stress and flexure of the subgrade and pavement increase obviously along with the increasing load of vehicles, the subgrade appears instability in different extent. Research shows that heavy-duty road transport can shorten the life of roadbed about 40%. Under this background, rely on substantial projects, this paper take a research about deformation and failure rules of subgrade and pavement and treatment measures under heavy-duty traffic.This paper systematically summed up the deformation of traffic heavy embankment road and damage phenomena and the research Status, research Status of physical model testing at home and abroad, the basic content and theory of similar model tests and numerical simulation methods. Relying on the basis of the actual situation ,through underground mining and underground river embankment deformation instability model test, deformation and failure tests of high fill embankment on the soft base, system anlysised deformation and deterioration mechanism of subgrade and pavement of special sections under the heavy-duty action, Summing up the basic rules of roadbed and pavement deformation and damage. On this basis, paper summarized subgrade and pavement treatment methods and coordination of the general design method on the special roadbed. Under the heavy traffic,a reference was provides for construction, management and conservation of highway roadbed in a special section.This paper used theoretical analysis compacted on-site construction monitoring, detection of combining data,used similar combination of physical model testing and finite element numerical analysis method, Theoretical analysis results and practice were mutual feedback and verified ,through research and analysis to ensure that a reasonable and reliable method of treatment measures are raised under heavy duty traffic on the special sections. At the same time summing up the general impact of the factor, mechanism and phenomenon of roadbed surface deformation instability under heavy traffic, general treatment technology is proposed. Through the above analysis and discussion, a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding are raised about the deformation and failure of subgrade and pavement under heavy traffic, some meaningful conclusions are drew,can provide reference of the administrative department ,design and construction unit assumes and provide some thought of the road design under heavy traffic.Discussed by the paper,can be that heavy load traffic subgrade and pavement deformation controls engineering study,design and construction provide the certain reference, curry out the disaster prevention and reduction.
