With the continuous economic development in cities, urban traffic problem has become increasingly serious. Public transport is going to be an important means to solve the conflict between supply and demand in urban city. Since the sector planning and implementation of the main game at the present stage, causing multi-mode transit involved inexcessive competition rather than cooperation, making the urban public transport unable to effectively integrate in different ways, the attractiveness of the public transport system difficult to achieve. travel demands of residents in different levels are uable to meet , the public transport system's overall advantages could not be fully realized. Based on this, this thesis combind the traditional method of transit planning, focusing on the city's multi-mode transit network optimization method.Acorrding to explain the concept and characteristics of single mode and multi-mode transit and analyse the development trend of multi-modal transit, as well as ways of cooperation and competition between multi-mode transit, determined on the target of multi-mode transit network optimization to achieve the shortest path optimization and transfer structure optimization. This thesis established a multi-mode transit optimized mathematical model, designed the path search algorithms and short-circuit transfer optimal algorithm, with the case of Fuzhou, concludes with a "minor after major, small after rough, hierarchical classification laid" multi-mode transit network laying method.Through evaluate the outcome of the Fuzhou public transit network optimization, prove that multi-mode transit network optimization method is reasonable to achieve better results.
