On account of favourable man-machine interaction and intelligent traffical function, it will be a new-style vehicle with environment protection and economic energy. This paper mainly works on the second program on innovation of vehicle advanced design and produce science and technology of"985 project"about research of intelligent electric vehicle control techniques in Hunan university.Firstly, this paper analyses the main technologies of intelligent electric vehicle and the importance of this research. Then it presents the main design of a intelligent electric vehicle and have a technical analysis .Based on that, a model of vehicle's function also establised. A general structure and functions of the navigation system is recommended.Secondly, the design process of intelligent electric vehicle's navigation system is introduced.A multi-sensor vision navigation system for partial directory path and a GPS/GIS navigation system for global path are designed. The path planning algorithm and map matching methods are researched.Thirdly, this paper analyses several vehicle electronic technologies used in this intelligent electric vehicle and recommends the communication network based on CAN-bus & LIN-bus.At last, the speed control method of vehicle and optimization of power supply are analyzed. Fuzzy-PID control base on grey forecasting is proposed. Digital duplexing DC/DC transfomer and DC/AC transfomer are designed for the power system of intelligent electric vehicle.
