Fuel cell hybrid vehicle (FCHV) with the advantage of zero-emission becomes an important alternative of oil car. While the fuel cell engine as main power source, MH/NI batteries are selected as auxiliary power source at home and abroad. High-performance, high reliability of the battery management system, which is able to carry out rational and efficient management and control to battery, enhances the reliability and security of fuel cell vehicle.Based on the pre-cell research on battery management system, according to the structure of car batteries, we adopt the distribution structure, which consists of one master and several slavers. RS485 network of multi-node module is selected. The sub-node module bases on MCU MC9S12C32CPB system, which completes single-voltage measurement, temperature measurement, control of fan, online alarm and so on. Master bases on MCU MC9S12DT128 system, which complete current and voltage measurement, SOC estimation, fault analysis and so on. The whole system software is designed with CodeWarrior compiler environment, using C programming. In addition, the CAN-based monitoring software is used in the management system. With the analysis of the collected parameters of batteries, the management system monitors the operation of batteries, protects the safe operation of motor vehicles and extends battery's life as far as possible. After field testing and practical operation, the results show that the management system runs well and has achieved the design requirement. |
