Experiment On Seismic Performance Of Steel-Concrete Composite Short Pier Shear Wall

The Short-pier Shear wall is a new type of structure resisting lateral loads in recent years. And it has got wide use in medium and small high-rise buildings .However, due to the small section, the short pier shear wall reduces the structure rigidity and carrying capacity, therefore it's necessary to study its anti-seimsic performance further. For this reason , we present the structure type of steel-concrete composite short pier shear wall.Steel-concrete composite short pier shear wall is a type of compsite structure, which embeded profied bar on both sides . In this paper, an experiment on three steel-concrete composite short pier shear walls , which in 1/2 scale and in line shape , was conducted . It analysised these walls carrying capacity, rigidity, ductileity, lag and rebounding character, capacity of energy absorbing and destroy mechanic etc. studied its anti-seismic performance.The main study work including the following contents:1.Designing and produceing three experiment walls , in 1/2 scale and with line shape sections in width-thickNess ratio of 5, 5.5, 6 .Each wall was embeded in profied bar in both sides, and texted under low period cycling loads.2. Studying the change rules of its characters such as carrying capacity, rigidity, ductileity, etc.under differrent width-thickNess ratios .3. Checking computations of its very section carrying capacity.4. Presenting advices to anti-seismic designs of steel-concrete composite short pier shear walls.As proved by study:Steel-concrete composite short pier shear wall has the advatages of big carrying capacity, rigidity and ductileity , besides fine energy absorbing capacity .Showed by the test result and dataes analysis , steel-concrete composite short pier shear wall is a type structure with fine applying perspective.
