| With the purpose of studying the characteristics of hybrid Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC)–Gas Turbine system, energy and exergy balances are performed for the whole system based on the first law of thermodynamics and the second law, and mathematical model is created. The system model bases on engineering thermal calculation, uses the extensive applicable formularies, sufficiently considers the characteristics of working substances, uses more exactly method to calculate the activation overpotential and concentration overpotential. Analyses are made based on the system model by using powerful numerical functions of MATLAB, and guides design and operation of system.
