Rolling bearing is one of the most familiar components in power plant, the running states will affect the whole machine's functions directly. Diagnosing early faults of rolling bearing is meaningful to extended its life and reduce its costs. This paper analyzes the principle and vibration characteristic for typical fault of bearing. Then explaining the principle of analysing and diagnosing bearing faults information in detail, the methods based on Envelope Demodulation, Vibration Amplitude Parameters and Shock Pulse Method are proposed. Finally the software for the fault diagnosis system based on those method is designed by LabVIEW, and the system can extract the fault characteristics and diagnose the fault of the rolling bearing effectively.
