Reinforced soil structure has a little restriction of construction height. Adaptability is strong to deformation and various terrain, flexibility and tenacity are good. Reinforced soil structure occupies less area than others and the sum cost of construction is cheaper. The reinforced soil technology entered into our country in since 1975, have been the rapid development and produced a number of successful reinforced soil projects. In reinforced soil structure, geosynthetics and soil interface characteristic property has the decision effect to the stability of reinforced soil structure. Studying geosynthetics and soil interface characteristic of reinforced soil structure has very important significance to guaranteeing the security of the reinforced soil engineering, reducing the cost of reinforced soil project construction, further developing and promoting reinforced soil technology.This paper based on Fokai expressway expansion project from Yayao to Sanbao in Guangdong province, research reinforcement soil interface characteristics. Direct shear test and pull-out test are conducted to figure out rules how water content of embankment fill influences strength of reinforced soil interface. Test results showed that when the water content is bigger than its best fill water, with increase of water content in embankment fill, the shear force of the destruction interface decreases. Through the pull-out tests, the influence law on geosynthetics and soil interface characteristic of the types of filler, filler compaction, soil reinforcement materials were discovered. The reinforced soil embankment broaden deformation and geosynthetics force impact of fill moisture, compaction, fill types and reinforced packing material types was analyed by finite difference software. Those studies have important reference value for the design and construction of reinforced soil engineering. In the aspect of influence on geosynthetics and soil interface characteristic , the geo-grid horizontal ribs'contribution in reinforcement effect in geo-grid was concentrated on discussing in the fifth chapter. The conclusion of discussing is important reference for the geosynthetics material choice, especially for the geogrid choice.
