The freeway network in Shanghai has been completed basically, The number of traffic guide signs become very large, has some problems, so we should research the traffic guide signs in freeway network. Considered the amount of many kinds of traffic sign information in freeway network is very large, manual work is low efficacious. We need find a efficient method to manager the signs. Computer aided is a efficient measure to design and evaluate guide signs in freeway network.This article research the computer aided design and evaluation about the traffic signs in freeway network. At first, we found traffic sign in Shanghai freeway network information management system, research the structure of system database, management of geometrical information data and application of three-dimensional display technique. Aided design traffic sign based on the system, analyze and evaluate the continuity of the design of traffic sign using the system.This article introduce the detailed rules about traffic sign design in Shanghai freeway, investigate and summarize the problems about sign designing, analyze the requirement of traffic guide sign, analyze the need and feasibility about aided design and evaluate signs using information management system. We analyze the traffic sign panel's topological structure and topological structure of freeway network., and then founds traffic sign information database and freeway network topological information database, then make the system has function of three-dimensional display. Achieve the computer aided design about the exit sign , exit foretell sign and guide sign making use of system .At last, combine the data of traffic sign information and data of freeway network topological , check up the continuity of designing of traffic sign.Chapter 1 is exordium, chapter 2 is requirement analyze of guide sign in freeway network, chapter 3 is development of information management system, chapter 4 is aided design of traffic sign, chapter 5 is analyzing and evaluating traffic sign in freeway network, in the finality, and the problems requiring further studies are discussed. |
