Reticulated shell structures is more and more widely used in long-span structures. To long-span reticulated shells, the impact induced by the seismic spatial variation cannot be neglected. Based on the terminal building phase 2 of Pudong airport, this dissertation studies the influence to structure seismic response because of different seismic wave input methods, aims to provide references for similar structures. Some main achievements of the dissertation are described as follows:(1)As far as the paleochannel under the site, this thesis calculates the site earthquake parameters by using two-dimensional finite element model, and compares to the results of one-dimension finite element model which is commonly used, analyzes the influence on the site earthquake parameters due to the nonuniformity of the soil. When using two-dimensional soil site analysis model, traveling-wave and uniform input on bedrock are also considered, in order to provide reasonable earthquake parameters for the seismic response analysis of long-span spatial structures.(2) Based on the results of the different soil models on free site seismic analysis, this thesis compares the changes of structure dynamical response results from different input methods of earthquake wave at the bottom of foundation, studies the impact on earthquake response on account of different soil models, different input methods at the bottom of foundation and the variation of traveling-wave velocity.(3) Compares the earthquake variation between multi-support input and uniform input to the internal effect under static loads, observes the proportion of the variation to static effect, so as to decide whether multi-support input is needed in earthquake resistant design.
