The soft soil is distributed widely in coast areas in China. This kind of soft soil has specially characteristics such as high water content, large void ratio,low strength and bearing capacity, which is decided by its specially deposit environment. With the rapid development of littoral economic construction, people pay more attention to the relevant engineering problems.In view of that mentioned above, combining with the national natural science foundation named"A study on the THM-coupled-effect mechanism in the system of new earth-energy exchange pile, soil and wate (No.40472134)", and Comprehensive national land resources survey project"Liaoning survey academy of geology and mineral resouse (No:1212010540502)",we analyzed the forming environment conditions, the genetic type and distribution law of Coastal Zone in Liaoning Province .And based on macroscopic mechanical tests and microscopic tests, we investigated different structural property and mechanical model .The purpose of this investigation lies in exploring the developmental mechanism, mechanical characteristics and engineering influence of soft soil in coastal zone in Liaoning province.Firstly, past research results and geological data collected comprehensively, and data in a large number of projects, field drilling, laboratory testing on the basis of the collation, we mapped distribution of soft soil in the coastal zone in Liaoning Province, Yingkou - Liaobin economic zones, and the DongGang-LangTou. At the same time, we found the causes of the soft soil,sedimentary environments and distribution features and so on in a micro-level study area and concluded that the soft soil in Coastal Zone in Liaoning Province is formed from the main plot and delta deposition .Secondly, through the trials and studies in the work area ,there was a state-plastic silty clay and clay , whose physical and mechanical indicators are less than soft soil criteria,but the nature of the project shows soft soil characteristics. we proposed a concept of "soft soil - soil earthy", and got the distribution feature in Yingkou - Liaobin economic zones, and the DongGang-LangTou . By drawing Casagrande plastic zoning plans ,we got the trend line of two targets: Ip = 0.6(WL-16.5); Yingkou target is mainly in the CI district distribution, whose soft soil, soft soil– soil earthy belongs middle liquid limit clay; DongGang–Lang tou distributes in the CI and CH district, whose soft soil, soft soil - soil earthy is high and middle liquid limit clay. Our first target is the soft soil and soft soil - soil earthy regression equation between indicators.Furthermore, this paper proposed statics nonlinear model in the area of DongGang,YingKou .On the basis of a large number of "target" in-situ tests and statics and dynamic mechanical indoor laboratory triaxial test , we choose"Duncan- Zhang model" , "Cam-Clay model " and the "Modified Cam-Clay model " as constitutive model basis of Liaoning coastal zone Muddy soft soil, and test the constitutive model which has been established mainly through the radial symmetry axis drainage consolidation test and consolidated undrained test, and finally offer the practical constitutive model of soft soil: Yingkou - Liaobin economic zones should be adopted Nonlinear Duncan - Zhang model, DongGang-Langtou should be used Modified Cam-Clay model , and give the corresponding model parameter values,such as elastic modulus, cohesion, internal friction angle, Poisson's ratio .According to the above basis and comparative analysis to standardized methods results,we assesse some commonly used settlement calculating methods in the project, choose a more reasonable method of calculating the final settlement,finally present settlement effect coefficient of Yingkou, Po≥fak ms=1.43,1.21, Po≤0.75fak ms = 1.27,1.11, for the settlement estimation application.Finally, we proposed shallow foundation suitability zoning, foundation treatment viws, as well as the overall planning proposals in the area of Yingkou, DongGang to provide a theoretical basis and practical recommendations for the future policy makers and the project staff.
