For the managers of enterprise, it is an important task to control stock, that is, the service level to customer can not be reduced and the stock cost can not be too high. The logistics cost accounts about 9.5-10% of sales in developed country, but in China, it is about 20-40% and stock accounts above 30% of logistics cost. So reasonable stock cost can strengthen enterprise competitive ability.Firstly, classifying all the parts by ABC to find the key parts and key suppliers, then apply JIT KANBAN theory to parts purchasing, lastly, building KANBAN concept model and procedure. After careful study, supplier D was taken as the first supplier for KANBAN purchasing. We analyze the stock situation and calculated some controlling indexes, such as, recycling parts quantity, Maximum quantity, safety stock and KANBAN cards quantity and so on. Then we developed KANBAN purchasing information management system by SQL server to manage the abundant information. Comparing the data before and after Kanban, it can reduce stock and logistics cost and provide one effective measure to control stock for automobile parts enterprise.
