For the purpose of improving the cost-performance ratio of the radial NdFeB permanent-magnet low-speed synchronous electromotor, the paper analyzes and studies the basic theory and parameters of the low-speed electromotor, and makes the electromagnetism design, which is regarded as the basis of optimization design. Considering that NdFeB permanent-magnet is much expensive, the paper uses a mixing optimization algorithm based on Genetic Algorithm and the multi-skill method. On the premise of guaranteeing the performance index of low-speed electromotor,the paper optimizes the volume of permanent magnet, which can't only realize the overall optimization, but also achieve the goal of fast constringency. Optimization result indicates that the cost-performance of the electromotor raises obviously after optimized by the mixing optimization algorithm. In addition, the paper also carries on simulation research by the MATLAB software, and the simulation result shows the advantages of the optimization algorithm too. The paper has important reference value to the theory study and the manufacture of the low-speed electromotor.
