ABSTRACT: The dynamic load coefficients,αandβ, which reflect the effect of curve and the dynamic diversification of applied force respectively, are very crucial for the strength verification of bogie construct. Because of the difference between the railway lines conditions in China and Europe, the in use standard, UIC515, which was worked out according to the common railway lines condition in Europe is not fit for Chinese lines, therefore It is very necessary to identifyα. andβbasing on the serving condition of Chinese lines, which are very meaningful for the design, fatigue assessment and verification of the bogies. In this paper, SW220 manufactured by CSR Sifang Locomotive and Rolling Stock CO,.LTD and CW200 manufactured by Changchun Railway Vehicles CO,.LTD are studied, the process of dynamic load coefficients identification is:Firstly, equivalent stress amplitude, neglecting the effects of breaking load and traction load, of two dynamic load coefficients identification points on the bogies, , is gotten by processing the dynamic stress datum that are collected on serving railway line, from Shenyang to Guangzhou.Secondly, according to the specification in UIC515-4, the stress values under 13 working conditions were calculated complying with the quasi-static method. Meanwhile, the stress amplitude of symmetrical cycles was calculated based on the fatigue estimating prescribed in Union International Code (UIC).Finally, according to the formula△σaeq≤△σa, the dynamic load coefficients,αandβthat are fitted for Chinese railway lines are identified. The analysis of the gained results indicate that the dynamic load coefficient identification method proposed in this thesis has paved the way for further identifying the dynamic load coefficients under the general railway running condition in China and in China and has a high value in engineer field.
