The Rehabilitation Application Technology Investigation Of Used Concrete Pavement On Hechaowu Express Highway

It is the main form and the development trend that the old cement concrete road pavement reformed by adding asphalt overlay on it after special treatment. Because of the joint, crack and vary degree defectives, plus the cyclic temperature stress and wheel loads, the asphalt overlays is liable to damage from the reflection crack at the relevant position. Then, performance and service life of the pavement are reduced.The Rehabilitation needs to be carried on but not break off the transportation. The construction period needs to be possibly short. Therefore, request the comprehensive consideration the homologous technical measure during the whole processes from design to construction. The realization is high-quality and efficiently.Based on experience and harvest obtained home and abroad, the rehabilitation of Hechaowu express highway is studied in this paper. The homologous technical measures are suggested after theoretical analysis on the cause of reflection crack, treatment of old pavement, and design method of asphalt overlay structure as well.According to cause of reflection crack, the method of preventing and reducing its expanding are suggested.According to treatment of old pavement and design method of adding asphalt pavement structure, to treat the old concrete pavement by impact compaction technology is suggested. It is discussed as emphasis that structure design of asphalt overlay based on the former treatment and optimization of construction machinery selection and configuration in asphalt overlay.Finally, some application processes of Hechaowu express highway rehabilitation are provided. It validated the measure concerned above.
