| Steel corbel as passing components in steel structure has been widely used, which is often used in industrial and civil construction works in connected location and plays an important role in large-span space structure. Because the load which is passed by the upside spatial truss is bearded by steel corbel and the corbel's bearing capacity is related to the structural security, therefore it is necessary to conduct the research to its stress performance.The stadium in Wuhan is taken as the project background in this article. Reinforced concrete frame structure is used as stadium's main structure. The roof system is large- span structure and composed by the arch truss. The arch truss acts on the spatial truss and the corbel welded by the steel plates withstands the load which transferred by the spatial truss. As the corbel's strength was only checked by the design organization, the corbel's stress or stability and the status that only considering single-layer corbels bear the load are not the subjects for research. In accordance with the requirements of the design organization, the stress and strain of corbels are measured. The purpose of this issue lies in the two force conditions of the corbels, to determine its ability to meet the design requirements and ensure the safe use of the structure. The analysis of the text include:(1) considering two-layer corbels at the same time bear the load transferred from the spatial truss, analysis the stability and stress-strain of the corbels;(2) taking into account of the reasons of the actual project sequence, when only single-layer corbels bearing the load transferred from the spatial truss, analysis the situation of strength, stability and stress of the corbels. Checking the strength and stability of the corbels which are accorded to the "steel structure design code" (GB50017-2003) (the following referred to as "standard") and associated strength and stability theory. Because stress concentration question of the corbels is unable to be reflected by the conventional theory, this article uses the ANSYS finite element software to establish corbel's finite element model and carries on the analysis of the stress and the strain. The calculated values are compared with the measured data in this article.The analysis shows that the corbel's strength and stability can meet "standards" requirement. The finite element software results show on the component's top flange and the web plate have big stress concentration, but in the standard request scope and the corbel can satisfies the secure request. However, in the process of construction should avoid the situation occurrence that only single-layer corbel withstanding load, otherwise stress concentration can surpass the yield strength of the steel plate on the flange plate, and affects the corbel's bearing capacity. |
