The brushless DC motor adopts electronic phase changing instead of mechanical phase changing, which overcomes the disadvantages of the traditional DC motor caused by the brush friction. Furthermore, with many advantages such as good functions of speed regulation, little volume and high efficiency, it is widely applied in industry and daily life.In this paper, the mathematic model of the brushless DC motor is derived and the simulation model of brushless DC motor is established based on MATLAB. The system of brushless DC motor with PID controller is simulated.The brushless DC motor is a nonlinear system. It is difficult to achieve satisfy control function by conventional PID controller. In this paper, the brushless DC motor controlled by fuzzy controller and adaptive fuzzy PID controller is designed. simulation results show that the functions of the system controlled by adaptive fuzzy PID controller has been improved .DSP, as a kind of high-speed signal- processor, has been used widely in the field of motor control recently. In this paper based on the TMS320LF2407 which is made by TI co. Ltd, the system of the circuit and the soft ware of the brushless DC motor is designed.
