| Energy crisis and environmental pollution have becoming not blockages but impetuses on the development of diesel engine for a long time. With a wide application of electronic control techniques on EGR, high-pressure common rail and variable valve, diesel engine system is becoming increasing complex, and traditional experimental method cannot meet these demands.Based on the specific analysis of the diesel engine system structure, the mathematical model was chosen and initial and boundary conditions were built. The working process of diesel engine is established based on MATLAB/Simulink, a platform composed by modeling, simulation and analysis. According to modular modeling method and module combination principle, modules like combustion heat release rate, the heat transfer rate and the performance module were packaged as a simulation module base, which improves the reusability and generality of system, and makes the system building and function extension easily. The test is operated on 1135 non-turbo-charged diesel engine with AVL combustion analyzer colleting data. The credibility of this model is checked by good consistency of simulating results and experimental data proves.Time-variation laws of parameters and effects on performance of intake temperature, compression ratio and fuel injection timing are obtained through the simulation system. It is shown that this simulation system is a practical tool for diesel engine designing due to its conveniency of comparison and optimization on large amount data.Compared with other methods, the simulation system reduces the development time and cost. |
