| Constrain dust sprays equipment is used in powder coal transportation. In order to improve its reasonable and economical application, this paper studied on image detection technique, developed and realized the image detection system. This system is composed of three subsystems: vehicle number recognition, coal transportation train identification and video frequency velocity measurement.The vehicle number recognition research. First, according to the vehicle number image's features, image's preprocess methods are discussed. Dynamic threshold, gray stretch, rotary adjustment and mathematics morphology processing are used to process the digital image. Character division algorithm based on recognition raises the correct rate of division and recognition. Character's characteristic is extracted through cross line, this method avoided the influence of vehicle number's printing typeface. The basic principle and method of BPNN is discussed, the vehicle number recognition system based on it is realized and experiment result is given in the paper.The coal transportation train identification research. First, coal transportation train's identification strategy is proposed according to the height of coal transportation train and coal's color characteristic. Texture analysis and associated theories are discussed, especially gray level co-occurrence matrix. Five gray level co-occurrence matrix characters such as energy are used to recognize the cargo, the realization of gray level co-occurrence matrix is analyzed. At last, vehicle loaded cargo's identification system is realized and experimental data is analyzed.The video frequency speed measurement research. First, the commonly used vehicles speed measurements are analyzed. Edge detection algorithm is adopted to extract vehicle's movement characters according to the train's video frequency. Camera's demarcate arithmetic is analyzed and velocity measurement model is built. At last, experiment is done and experimental data is analyzed.
