The aerodynamic characteristic of moving aerofoil on the surface of inclined plate and of ordinary plane varies much. The aerodynamic characteristic of moving aerofoil, which is on the surface of inclined plate in different situation, is maily studied in this paper. The numerical method and the dynamic mesh in FLUENT are used to simulate the whole process of NACA0012's aerofoil movement in the different situation. Since the velocity of the aerofoil is from 0m/s to 100m/s, and the Mach number is less than 0.3, air can be regarded as incompressible fluid. The unstructured mesh of the dynamic mesh is used in the numerical computation. Turbulence model is standard k -εmodel. In the paper, aerodynamic characteristic of the moving aerofoil is researched in some situations, such as different types of plate, different upwind velocity, and different moving velocity of inclined plate, different up-warping angle of inclined plate and different length of the plate.The computation shows that, the aerodynamic effect with inclined plate based on ground effect is stronger than that is without. That means, the lift coefficient is larger than the drag coefficient. Compared results under the upwind-velocity 0m/s,5m/s,10m/s,15m/s and 20m/s respectively, it is found that the larger the upwind-velocity and the better aerodynamic characteristic. The moving velocity of the inclined plate means the larger up-warping velocity, and the better aerodynamic characteristic of the aerofoil. When the up-warping angle is less than or equal to 8°, it is disadvantageous to the airplane to take off; when the up-warping angle is between 10°~ 14°, it is advantageous to take off; when the up-warping angle is more than or equal to 16°,the aerodynamic characteristic is the worst and it is most disadvantageous to take off. Therefore, if an airplane takes off on inclined plate and gets the best Take-off performance, the aerodynamic characteristic and up-warping angle of inclined plate should be considered. |
