At present, energy and environment problem have become a worldwide focus, which restrict human's survival and society's development. With fossil energy being to be depleted and environment problem becoming more and more serious, the development of clean renewable energy has become an urgent topic. Because the biomass energy is a renewable clean energy, which can be store up and transported, the world gradually develops its research and application.Under this background, the HUST has developed biomass micron fuel. It transforms all kinds of vegetable fiber (such as straw stalk, reed, garden waste, weeds, cane vine and so on all non- grain plant) into the powder fuel of which size is in 250um, majority below 100um , which we usually call biomass micron fuel. The ordinary material can be transformed to the high quality fluid fuel through the technology, whose calorific value is close to the fuel oil and fuel gas.In this dissertation, we analysis the industry composition,elemental composition and calorific value of pine lumber micron fuel, and understand its basic chemical characteristics. With the breakthrough of the tradition technique, we use low temperature steam as the gasifying agent and put micron fuel gasification process and the catalyzed decomposition process conformity into a reactor to carry on research of rich hydrogen fuel gas.we discuss the gasifier chamber temperature distribution situation, analysis the factors of reactor temperature (700℃~900℃),micron fuel particle size (50um~150 um),S/B(0~2.92),the steam pressure (0.01MPa~0.06MPa) and so on to the influence of micron fuel catalysis gasification characteristic, as well as the gasified intensity to the effect of gasificaion and the catalyst (dolime) to the influence of tar's catalysis decomposes.According to experiments in laboratory, the average fuel gas production rate of micron fuel ranges from 1.14Nm~3/kg to1.78 Nm~3/kg; the hydrogen production rate ranges from 0.19Nm~3/kg to0.93Nm~3/kg; the maximal volume of hydrogen reaches to 51.12%;the fuel gas calorific value ranges from 8986KJ/Nm~3 to 20895KJ/Nm~3, as medieum calorific value gas; the carbon decomposion rate ranges from 61.96% to 98.56%; the steam decomposion rate ranges from 6.75% to 71.43%.The results show that higher temperature contributes to more hydrogen production, but lower heat value of fuel gas and slows the change speed of latent hydrogen production. The smaller micron fuel has the more important influence in component distribution and production rate of fuel gas.The appropriate introduction of steam improves gas quality,guel gas production rate and hydrogen production rate, and helps decomposion of tar.The volume of hydrogen can be increased over 12% through the using of dolomite.
