Today, the fossil energy is drying up, looking for an effective new substitute energy is an important thing facing to the countries around the world. Biomass is an age-old energy, provides with advantages of regeneration, huge reserves and environment friendliness. And it be take seriously again by the experts in the area of energy. The most important thing in the research of biomass use is to improve the efficiency. The technology of biomass pyrogenation can make gas from biomass, which has high effective of the utilization and extensive use area, becomes the hotspot of the research for new energy technologies.The gasifier for biomass pyrogenation, heating by high temperature smoke, is a new technology of biomass pyrogenation, which is designed by the cleanliness production lab of HUST. The energy from the combustion in the burning reactor, which is pass through the smoke standpipes, can be provided for the biomass pyrogenation in the pyrogenation reactor. This technology is a favorable example for using biomass integrated.In order to realize the state of the new gasifier utilizing high temperature smoke heat up, the combination of theory, experiment and computational fluid dynamics was applied. By using the computational fluid dynamics and the data from the pyrogenation experiment of the phoenix tree leaves heating by electric cooker and the new gasifier, size is 0.48m×0.48m×1.60m, utilizing high temperature smoke heat up, it simulated the temperature field in the reactor. The results of the simulation show good agreement with experimental data. The numerical results also show that the temperature in the reactor was distributed suitably, the range of high temperature was wide, it can provide adequate energy for biomass pyrogenation. At the same time, it simulated the temperature field in the reactor when it was circulated continuously, which was in favor of ameliorating the gasifier. At last, it gives some advices for equipment amelioration and the running state optimizing in the future...
