Nowadays, energy efficiency and environmental protection are drawing more and more attention; In addition, the sustainable development theory has been put forward in recent years. As a result, the ground source heat pump air-conditioning system has become a hotspot in research on air-conditioning system. GSHP system has provided a new developing direction for energy efficiency and environmental protection technology with its advantages such as high efficiency, low environment pollution, stable running, etc. However, the GSHP system causes added expense of out-door earth exchanger, thus leads to relatively higher initial cost. Besides, the application research and analysis of GSHP system aren't perfect enough at present. Therefore, the development of the GSHP technology has been restricted heavily. In order to promote the generalization and application of the GSHP technology, this paper gives an overview of technological and economic analysis of GSHP system, and compares it with the air source heat pump system.In this article, the author analyzed the formation of the GSHP technology, illustrated its mechanism and classification, summarized its advantages such as energy efficiency, the use of reproducible energy and lowed environmental pollution.This paper argues that the heat economics analyzing method is a satisfying approach to achieve energy efficiency and low expense after introducing the two theoretic foundation of the heat economics analyzing method: the thermodynamics foundation and the economics foundation, and then established the heat economics balance formula and the price model of the products'exergy cost, drawing the conclusion that the exergy cost of different parts of the system varies and shows an increasing trend. This article established thermo-economics analyzing model of GSHP and air source heat pump system according to the principle of grey box and the state of exergy flow. And analyzed exergy efficiency, costs of unit cold and heat exergy and the unit cold and heat capacity of GSHP and air source heat pump system using exergy balance and economics balance of thermodynamics algebraic mode.this paper analyzed the air-conditioning system of one specific office building in Beijing, calculating the costs of unit cold and heat exergy and the unit cold and heat capacity of adopting GSHP system and air source heat pump system separately. With these numbers as standard for evaluation and comparison, it supports the conclusion that adopting GSHP system is better than adopting air source heat pump system and the heat economics analyzing method is more accurate than that based on energy.Moreover, this paper analyzes the green level of the building applying adopting the GSHP system by using CASBEE . It proves that buildings which adopt GSHP system have a higher green level compared with buildings adopting conventional air-conditioning system, thus leads to the conclusion that GSHP technology is a green constructional technology which can meet the requirement of sustainable development. GSHP system is a typical green ecological building techniques, it will be of broad prospects to be developed and utilized.
