The paper mainly studied the stress characteristic of the skew slant leg rigid frame bridge without abutment.The skew slant leg rigid frame bridge without abutment is a new type of bridge, which is widely applied in engineering practice, on account of its unique advantages in respect of adaptability, economy and landscaping, in recent years. Because in its structure inherent characteristic, enables its to overcome the general bridge of the common danger, has the very strong promoted value. But mainly concentrates regarding this kind of bridge earlier period research in the orthogonal slant leg rigid frame bridge without abutment, regarding skew bridge fundamental research relative lag. This paper unifies the project application, mainly aims at the skew slant leg rigid frame bridge without abutment the structure system and the stress characteristic carries on the analysis, and carries on the confirmation through the project practice to the theoretical analysis.This paper introduced the mechanics characteristic of the skew slant leg rigid frame bridge without abutment, analyzed the causes of in-plain rotation of skew bridge, then put forward the rotating-resist mechanism of slant leg rigid frame bridge without abutment. theoretically " the fixed point" and " the rotation center" is derived, which derived its plane displacement formula. The theoretical formula computed result indicated that, compared with other types of skew bridges, slant leg rigid frame bridge without abutment, on account of its unique structure, can effectively restrict in-plain displacement, and thus can ensure the safety of structure.For typically the skew slant leg rigid frame bridge without abutment, this article uses the MIDAS software, through space beam element model in the large-angle position of the beam number and position, simultaneously established the skew slant leg rigid frame bridge without abutment model with different skew angles, makes analysis on loading conditions and stiffness of structure from the aspects of stress level and structural displacement.Based on the practical projects, Through dynamical and statical load test study is made on the skew slant leg rigid frame bridge without abutment, theoretical analysis and verification of the above sections is derived.Expected these research results may enrich the design theory of the skew slant leg rigid frame bridge without abutment, provides valuable reference for the engineering application of the skew slant leg rigid frame bridge without abutment.
