| The inherent simplicity and fault tolerance of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) Drive (SRD) have made it a great potential drive system. Considering SRD's nonlinearity, applying nonlinear control strategy to the SRD system will have an important significance. This thesis concentrates on the academic analysis and application of sliding mode control to SRD, and it is composed of following aspects:Base on the measured data of current-flux, the maximal inductance curve was fitted and the nonlinear inductance model was provided for the SRM.According to the characteristics of SRM, this thesis designed a conventional sliding mode speed controller. Acceleration was usually required in the sliding mode control system, so acceleration estimation was introduced to the system. To solve the chattering problem which is aroused by high-frequency switches, the thesis utilized non-switch sliding mode control strategy to minimize chattering. The simulation provide that the use of acceleration estimation and non-switch sliding mode control is effective in minimize chattering. The design of hardware and software was presented in the end, including the software implemented of sliding mode control. To demonstrate the correctness of proposed scheme, experiments were carried out. The results showed that sliding mode speed control of SRD had a good performance. Our research team has undertaken the electric vehicle fundamental special project titled"EQ6110HEV Hybrid Power City Bus Electric Motor and Controller"(2001AA501421) of the 863 Program of the"Tenth Five-Year Plan"of China. The research work of this thesis is supported by the project. |
