Practices indicated that lubricant film existed between roller and bearingcone if there was a strict control over the designing and manufacturing ofrolling bearing. Moreover, rolling bearing' contact fatigue life could beincreased in double with the count value predicted by the AFBMA if thebearing worked at a full lubrication state. So, it was necessary to have a furtherstudy on the elastohydrodynamic lubrication of rolling bearing. Therefore, thecurrent study was of both the theoretical significances and practical values.Firstly this paper summaries former investigation, as flowing,comprehensive considering influencing factors such as loads, speed andlubricant's thermal effects, etc. and based on Ree-Eyring non-Newtonhydro-liquit, established a mathematical Model forthethermal-elastohydrodynamic lubrication of rolling beating. And then employingMulti-grid method,it is a new method developed in recently years for solvingnonlinear algebra system of equations, carries out lots of numerical computation, obtained the distribution of the pressure temperature,filmthickness and discussed the influence of the parameters such as the speed,loads and roller's radius, etc. for lubrication's characteristic to rolling bearing.The research results indicates:(1) Thickness of oil film is becoming higher with the rotate speed mending,at the same time, temperature of the oil film is hoisting. So improving the rotatespeed is good to come true the full film lubrication, but, the hoisting of thefihn's temperature can fasten the distortion of the roller and bearing cone.(2) Largen loads can make the film becoming thiner,simultaniesly ,can make the temperature of the film hoisting, so, the suit loadis one of the key factors to come true full film.(3) Keeping the radius of the bearing cone costant, the biger the Radius ofthe roller, the higher of the oil film,and the lower of the film's temperature.Therefore, in the allowable range, shoud increase the radius of the roller.Again,the paper obtains minimas film thickness calculating formula viaregress analysising for a lots of calculating results, conducted in the test of thesignificance of the difference for it,and the result of the test is highly significant,this shows the calculating formula is believable .It has a certain reference valuefor rolling bearing tribology design.However, it is must indicated that the most of industrial rolling bearingswork in mixed lubrication state,not in full film lubrication.that is ,there are notonly lubrication oil film ,but also asperities's direct collision between roller and beating cone. Therefore, for making the results press close to industrialpractice, the roughness of working faces must be taken into account, this is thepaper's deficiency and is the study direction for the future. |
