The Vertically-Tensioned Prestressed Concrete(VTPC) beam has been successfully applied in Hongcaofang bridge and other 6 bridges, It has prominent social and economical benefits. To further improve theoretical system of VTPC beam, and offer tested data and theoretical ground for Code for Design of Vertically Tensioned Prestressed Concrete Bridges. Based on the test, the shear behavior of VTPC beam is explored in the paper in aspects as below:1. Planning the procedure of the shearing test and designing the beam specimens according to VTPC's properties, manufacturing 10 VTPC beams, and conducting test and research during the tensioning process.2. Through the shearing test on the 8 beam specimens finding that the VTPC beams have good inclined-section performance.3. Studying the influental factors on the anti-crack strength of inclined-section of the beams. Based on the theoretical analysis and the statistics tested data, bring forward the VTPC beam formulae to calculate the inclined-section anti-crack strength, which fits the tested results satisfactorily.4. Analyzing the mechanism of the shearing failure of the VTPC beam, and studying the the influental factors on the beams' ultimate shear strength of the inclined-section beam. putting forward formula to calculate the ultimate shear strength of inclined section beam.5. Optimizing the configuration of the VTPC beams. |
