Research For Individual-well Simple Multiphase Flow Meter In Oilfield

With the development of the oil production technology, the oil field required the powerful and automatic oil well flow measurement equipments to elevate the level of labor productity and management. But the oil single well production has many problems, such as the wide changing scale of liquid flow (3m3-400 m3/d),wide varying scale of gas flow (0%~99%), wide varying scale of water cut ,wide varying scale of density and viscidity ,so there are many problems to be solved. By analysis the many kinds of advancing technology of multiphase flow meters in the today world ,we offer a set of methods. Using the simple singe oil well multiphase flow meter measures the oil ,gas and water on line, to sovle the difficult problem of oil field. The equipment use the vortex separator to control the oil ,gas and water and divide them to liquid and gas. Then on the liquid line and gas line, we use the liquid flow meter and gas flow meter to measure the flow,using the water cut meter to measure the WC of the liquid. And the control process is automatic. The effect of separating can influence the result of measurement. We use the liquid level controlling system to control the gas and liquid to separate automatically. According to the value of water cut ,we can use different methods. Such as using weight sensor to measure the WC at 0~20%,desity meter at 20~90%,double energyγsensor at 90~99%.When the medium is very high in viscidity, use the weight heat tube to heat the medium. Compare with the traditional two-phase and three-phase separator ,we can know that the single simple multiphase flow meters have many advantages on price and performance.
