Reading The Circulation Space Of Campus Buildings Designed By GMP

As one of the most important parts of campus building ,circulation space is the mediaorganizing the interior space of architecture which influence the way to constitute. Ithas compounding relationship with communication space and influences theoperation of campus building morphology in some extent. The thesis tries to find outthe relationship between circulation space and architecture morphology from theplenty of constructed cases which designed by GMP, aiming to guide the design ofcampus building space and form with the relationship.At first, the thesis gives the concept and feature of circulation space and campusbuilding and defines them, then analyses the relationship between the circulationspace and campus building form and communication space individually. At the sametime, the author generalizes the basic patterns of circulation space according the wayto distinguish campus building, after that studies the countermeasure of designingcirculation space. Bases on all of there search conclusion above, the thesis analysesthe relationship between two, then finds out the acting regularities and the linkage ofthem and points out the possible influences on architecture morphology made by thelinkages. At last ,according to the relationship ,taking it in to consider as theimportant element ,the author puts forward the conception and the manner to designthe architecture form to unite the integrity and multiplicity.The subject stems from the author analysing of the campus building designed byGMP and the thinking in practice course. The author makes her thinking andsummary on ordinary days to a more comprehensive compound idea ofbuilding, circulation space. The author also wishes that it becomes one of theeffective ways to the campus building design.
