The definition of Heavyweight High-strength Concrete is introduced. The great significance of researching and exploiting Heavyweight High-strength Concrete is elaborated. The foreground of developing and applying of Heavyweight High-strength Concrete base on the request of counterbalance in washers is also narrated.Contraposing the main properties of a Heavyweight High-strength Concrete, its basical manufacturing theories is studied, especially the making technique and method are put forward, besides explaining the original material and its characteristic request. The orthogonal experimental designing method and the biggest density theories, which are applicable in manufacturing Heavyweight High-strength Concrete are also introduced.According to the characteristic targets of a Heavyweight High-strength Concrete, suitable experimental material and experimental project are chosen. The various properties request of Heavyweight High-strength Concrete in making counterbalance are combined to investigate the influence of each factor for it. On the basis of them, the Heavyweight High-strength Concrete, which is called C60 and apparent density is 2800 kg/m~3, is successfully manufactured, at the same time the optimum proportion is gaved out.Via analyzing and commenting on various properties of different mineral such as silica fume and fly ash, a feasibility study for mixed them into concrete to manufacture a Heavyweight High-strength Concrete is conducted, and its mechanics properties and Alkali-resistant property are tested. Their influences to the properties of the Heavyweight High-strength Concrete are explained by reviewing the micro-structure, and showed that the relative requests to counterbalance in washer are satisfied. No doubt it has great significance in carrying out Chinese-building of the counterbalance and has reference value to engineering on the stocks at the same time.Finally, the breakage principle and breaking process of the Heavyweight High-strength Concrete are analyzed by reviewing the micro-structure. The differences between Heavyweight High-strength Concrete and common concrete are contrasted to construe the effect of minerals and the development foreground of the Heavyweight High-strength Concrete is predicted.
