| Although screw joint is widely applied as a method of mechanicalconnection, yet it is often in failure because of fatigue fracture orlooseness. A primary reason is the non-uniform force of the underlayerthread of the traditional nut, which accounts for approximately 1/3 ofentire forces and causes great elastic deforming. So improving the forcesdistributing of thread tooth plays a important role in enhansing thesthength of the screw connection. Presently, some novel structural nutssuch as mounting nut and ring-slot nut are used to solve the problem, butdon't work well.According to the forces and elastic deforming analysis of bolt and nutand thread tooth, the prensent article puts forward the shape of the spireof the nut, which can make the screw pitch of two screw tooth sidesunequal, but every layer of screw thooth be equal load or close to equalload. Thus, the standard nut grows into equal load distribution nut orapproximately uniform load distribution nut. On the basis of theoptimization method, the article solves the axial cutting depth of screwtooth by programing. With the datum, the entity model of new nut isconstructed and used to analysize the static strength and the fatiguestrength of the screw joint. Finally, the article analysizes the processingmethod of the novel eaual load distribution nut, which avails theapplication and generalization. |
